Book Public

About the podcast

Book Public is Texas Public Radio's podcast about books and their authors. Conversations examine what a writer created and why they chose to write it. The program is interested in both the pleasures and the illuminating possibilities of reading. Its selection connects books with questions about the contemporary world and other people's lives. The format gives listeners a direct introduction to a work through the author's explanation of it.
