Current Affairs

About the podcast

Current Affairs brings the magazine’s left-wing perspective to conversations about politics and culture. Editor Nathan J. Robinson interviews authors, activists, and commentators about the arguments behind their work. Episodes examine subjects such as democracy, economic power, foreign policy, and political organizing. Books often provide a starting point for discussing how institutions operate and how they might change. The program connects criticism of contemporary society with debates over possible alternatives.
