The Current

About the podcast

The Current features conversations with Hachette Book Group authors about public issues. Editors and writers use books as a starting point for exploring politics, history, and social change. Its archive includes discussion of American diplomacy with Philip Zelikow. Other conversations examine racial justice and the legacy of John Lewis. The show connects an author’s research with questions extending beyond the book itself.
