The Political Orphanage

About the podcast

Comedian Andrew Heaton hosts conversations about politics and policy. He approaches the subjects as an independent rather than as a party representative. Authors and other thinkers help examine the ideas behind public arguments. Humor is part of the format, paired with an effort to avoid hostile political exchanges. The program moves between practical policy questions and broader intellectual discussion.
