Think Back

About the podcast

Think Back is Richard Kreitner’s podcast about American history. He talks with historians about books that reconsider familiar accounts of the past. Conversations have explored the American Revolution, Indigenous North America, and the political methods of Abraham Lincoln. The emphasis falls on the evidence and arguments that change how historical events are understood. Author interviews give listeners a route into scholarship while connecting individual books to larger questions about the United States.
