At a Distance

About the podcast

Spencer Bailey hosts At a Distance, a series that approaches public problems from a wider perspective. Guests include scientists, technologists, artists, and climate activists. The conversations ask listeners to consider longer time horizons and planetary connections. Subjects such as history, environmental change, and the pace of life enter the discussion. Its defining interest is what becomes clearer when an issue is viewed beyond its immediate moment.
